BUSY Ability is a registered provider of supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).   

Successfully supporting many people with disability into meaningful employment over the past 30 years, BUSY Ability’s main focus as an NDIS provider is to support participants into paid employment.


School Leavers who require support to transition to employment can access School Leaver Employment Supports with BUSY Ability. 

BUSY Ability can:

  • Assist school leavers with the process of accessing the NDIS and with getting School Leaver Employment Supports funding in your NDIS Plan
  • Offer up to 2 years of School Leaver Employment Supports depending on what is funded in your NDIS Plan
  • Tailor to your individual needs and the goals that you want to achieve
  • Offer group supports as well as some one-on-one
  • Assist you with everything related to employment – from improving social skills and confidence to identifying job choices, understanding employment, building a resume and job applications.
  • Provide travel training so that you can travel to and from work independently
  • Support you to participate in work experience

And, when you are ready, BUSY Ability support you into paid employment with on-the-job training and ongoing support through our Disability Employment Services.


BUSY Ability can also assist participants of any age who have an NDIS Plan and have an employment goal. 

Usually these supports are funded under Capacity Building, Finding and Keeping a Job however, other funding in your Plan may be utilised depending on your goals and the type of support you would like.
