As a passionate advocate for everything Mackay, Children and Families, I was excited to be approached by a fellow North Queensland mum, Amanda,
who shares my passions, love of community and connection and was seeking to create a space for local, relocating and visiting families of Mackay.
Lucky for me, I was tagged when Amanda made a call out inside some local Facebook pages, simply saying she was seeking to connect with a mum, just like me!

Admittedly, it was the day before my wedding (in July this year,….yes I got married this year!)

In my own lived experience as a mum, I am always encountering local products, services, events and more that can benefit my own and other families and it got me thinking, what if there was a platform where they all could live and promote themselves to mums, just like me 24/7 ?!

The idea of creating a positive parent resource and space for families to connect with their community excites me and I can’t wait to do just that in 2021!
