Since 1992, as one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit employment services providers, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of job seekers to find work with inclusive employers who recognise and value diversity.
NDIS Services aim to support a greater independence, autonomy and a better life for Australians with a significant and permanent disability. WISE Employment provides NDIS supports in Tasmania, and access to a variety of employment and allied health services via NDIS Services in Victoria.
The NDIS provides many advantages and opportunities for people with disabilities. These include:
Prior to the NDIS, people with disability didn’t have much control over the services they received or the providers they could work with. NDIS increases the chances of improving the lives of people with disability as you have more involvement and say in how your funding is spent. We support people with disability to have greater control over their own funding and choice over who provides the assistance or services they need.
The National Disability Incentive Scheme recognises how important flexibility is for people with disability. That’s why you get to decide on the most suitable care based on your lifestyle. This can be tailored to your interests, needs or social life. If your initial care needs change at any time, you have the option to tailor and change your NDIS-funded services so they are more suitable for your new circumstances.
Whatever level of disability assistance you need, the National Disability Incentive Scheme (NDIS) is all about you becoming independent. Independence gives you more flexibility and greater opportunity.
We welcome the opportunity to help people with a disability develop life skills and greater independence in the community, at home, pursuing education and employment. Currently, WISE Employment provides NDIS supports in Tasmania, and access to a variety of employment and allied services via NDIS in Victoria.
If you have been approved to access SLES (School Leaver Employment Supports) through your NDIS funding, WISE Employment’s SLES program could help you transition from school to work.
If you have been approved to access ‘Finding and Keeping a Job’ through your NDIS funding, WISE Employment can help you find work.
